Why She Is Running for Office
Dr. Agocha is running for the position of councilwoman for District 4 in Prince George’s County Council in Maryland. Her motivation stems from a clear vision: to serve her community and advocate for families. Her political ambition is driven by a desire to create positive change and ensure that every individual has access to the resources they need to thrive.
Leadership Experience
With over 18 years of leadership experience, Dr. Agocha has built a strong foundation in both corporate and nonprofit sectors. As the founder and CEO of Ultimate Tech, a technology company based in Prince George’s County, she has leveraged her expertise to solve real-world problems. During the pandemic, she transformed chaos into innovation, providing essential technology services to those in need.
In addition to her corporate work, Dr. Agocha founded One Voice Empower Her, a nonprofit organization focused on empowering women and girls. She also serves as the Vice Chairperson Policy Council for Early Childhood Education for the Lawyers Centre, further demonstrating her commitment to community development and advocacy.

Overcoming Homelessness
Dr. Agocha recalls her time as a homeless person in 2009. At the time, she was unable to afford a home, which led to a two-week period of sleeping on the streets and squatting with others. She relied on affordable places like McDonald’s and Walmart to survive. A kind stranger eventually helped her find a place to stay, marking a turning point in her life.
Moving to the United States
Dr. Agocha moved to the U.S. at a young age to pursue higher education. She was admitted to the University of Maryland, where she pursued her dreams of success. She credits America for providing her with the resources and opportunities needed to excel. As an immigrant, she is passionate about fighting for the rights and well-being of all families.

Her academic journey began with an associate’s degree in information technology, followed by a master’s in cybersecurity and a PhD in leadership with an emphasis in business management.
