Pink relocates to NYC as rumors swirl about replacing Kelly Clarkson

Pink has been spotted in New York City, leading to speculation that she could be in line to take over Kelly Clarkson’s talk show. The “Raise Your Glass” singer, 46, has spent significant time in the city during the summer and appears to have returned. A source told Page Six that they saw Pink, whose real name is Alecia Beth Moore-Hart, at Soho House, an exclusive members’ club in New York’s Meatpacking District, on February 26.

The source mentioned that Pink was accompanied by “a guy who seemed to be part of her team,” and she “spent a few hours reading paperwork and documents on a computer.” The club member noted that the performer was dressed in a head wrap and sweats and “looked beautiful.”

This comes after rumors that Pink is being considered to take over Clarkson’s program following the TV personality’s announcement that she is leaving, citing family reasons. Clarkson is the mother of two children, ages 11 and 9, with her late ex-husband, Brandon Blackstock, who passed away in August 2025 at age 48.

“I have been extremely fortunate to work with such an outstanding group of people at The Kelly Clarkson Show, both in Los Angeles and New York,” Kelly, 43, said. “There have been so many amazing moments and shows over these seven seasons. I am forever grateful and honored to have worked alongside the greatest band and crew you could hope for, all the talent and inspiring people who have shared their time and lives with us, all the fans who have supported our show and to NBC for always being such a supportive and incredible partner.”

She added, “Because of all of that, this was not an easy decision, but this season will be my last hosting The Kelly Clarkson Show.”

Regarding Pink potentially taking over the show, an insider revealed to Page Six, “She’s been guest-hosting and it seems she’s doing very well, and that’s the plan.” While the extent of Pink’s involvement remains unclear, she is set to kick off an entire week as guest host beginning Monday.

These recent developments follow Pink’s dismissal of rumors that she and her husband, Carey Hart, have split after two decades of marriage. On Thursday, February 26, an insider told People that the pop icon and her spouse had allegedly ended their relationship, an assertion that Pink quickly refuted.

Responding to the false reports in a fresh Instagram video, she declared, “So I was just alerted to the fact that I’m separated from my husband, I didn’t know. Thank you People magazine, thank you US Weekly. Thank you for letting me know, I was wondering if you’d also like to tell our children, my 14-year-old and 9-year-old, are also unaware.”

Pink continued, “Or, do you want to talk about some real news? Do you want to talk about the Epstein files? Do you want to talk about systemic racism or misogyny in sports or how classy the women’s hockey team is? Or how eight of the 12 medals won in the Olympics this year for the U.S. were won by women? Or do you maybe want to talk about the fact that I got nominated the first year I was eligible for the Rock N Roll motherf—-g Hall of Fame?”

She wrapped up her statement, “Do you want to talk about my accomplishments or do you only want to talk about my supposed demise? So fake news, not true, f—–g hate that term. I love you all, go with God and trash news you can do better, night night.”

The So What singer, 46, discovered yesterday (February 25) that she had earned a nomination for the 2026 Rock n Roll Hall of Fame. She joins 17 other nominees vying for the coveted honor, with final inductees set to be revealed in April and the official induction ceremony scheduled for fall.
