Whitney Biennial at Whitney Museum of American Art, New York



The 82nd edition of the Whitney Biennial, the museum’s key exhibition, features the work of 56 artists, duos, and collectives from the United States and countries such as Afghanistan, Chile, Iraq, Japan, and Vietnam. Co-organized by curators Marcela Guerrero and Drew Sawyer, the Biennial is the longest-running survey of American art. The exhibition is on view until August 23.

Lee Bul at M+, Hong Kong



South Korean artist Lee Bul’s work explores themes of technology and humanity’s pursuit of progress. Her retrospective, “Lee Bul: From 1998 to Now,” is now on display at M+ in Hong Kong. The exhibition travels to Hong Kong just in time for Art Basel and will run from March 14 to August 9.

Heavenly Horses at Hong Kong Palace Museum



Hong Kong Palace Museum is celebrating the Year of the Horse with “Heavenly Horses: Masterpieces from the Palace Museum.” This exhibition showcases nearly 100 horse-themed paintings by over 60 artists from the Yuan dynasty up to the 20th century. The artworks come mainly from the Palace Museum in Beijing, as well as institutions such as the Hong Kong Museum of Art and the Art Museum of the Chinese University of Hong Kong. The exhibition is open from March 20 to March 17, 2027.

Inez and Vinoodh at Kunstmuseum Den Haag



Inez van Lamsweerde and Vinoodh Matadin have been creating striking images in fashion publishing since the early 1990s. Their exhibition “Can Love be a Photograph. 40 Years of Inez and Vinoodh” at Kunstmuseum Den Haag in The Hague displays photos from their magazine editorials, campaigns for luxury brands, and music videos for artists like Lady Gaga. The exhibition runs from March 21 to September 6.

The Antwerp Six at MoMu, Antwerp



MoMu, Antwerp’s fashion museum, is featuring an exhibition on the Belgian designers known as the Antwerp Six: Dirk Bikkembergs, Ann Demeulemeester, Walter Van Beirendonck, Dries Van Noten, Dirk Van Saene, and Marina Yee. They first presented their work in London in 1986 and later became fixtures at Paris Fashion Week. The exhibition is on view from March 28 to January 17, 2027.
