Nobu Bangkok, known as the world’s highest Nobu restaurant, is celebrating its first anniversary with an exclusive ‘meet and greet’ evening featuring chef Nobu Matsuhisa. On November 4-5, diners can enjoy a unique eight-course omakase menu that showcases some of the chef’s most iconic dishes. Guests will have the opportunity to meet chef Nobu and engage in discussions about his career, inspiration, and vision. Each diner will receive a gift bag containing a signed copy of “Nobu: A Memoir,” a Nobu Bangkok Masu box, and Nobu’s signature dry miso seasoning. There are two seating times available for this special event.
Japan Culture Day at The Ritz-Carlton, Bangkok
The Ritz-Carlton, Bangkok will host Japan Culture Day with an afternoon tea collaboration at Caleo. On November 1-2, the hotel will welcome chef Sachi Takagi from Kyoto, one of Japan’s most acclaimed pastry destinations, to craft a menu alongside executive pastry chef Sylvain Constans. The afternoon tea will be presented in partnership with Ksana, a specialist in ceremonial-grade Japanese matcha. Guests will enjoy carefully curated matcha and Japanese tea pairings designed to highlight the delicacy of Rau’s Kyoto-inspired desserts.
Four-Hands Dinner at Siam Yacht Club
Siam Yacht Club, located at Royal Orchid Sheraton Riverside Bangkok, will host a four-hands dinner titled “Two Paths, One Passion – An Inspired Collaboration By Bangkok’s River Of Kings” on November 8. Chef Natchayapong ‘Nu’ Homsombutchoti and Lady Butcher Nattida Noo-in will present a seven-course tasting menu that fuses modern European techniques with Asian influences. Pastry head chef Dechar Moungseetong will add a creative flourish with an inventive dessert finale.
Four-Hands Dinner at Alex Dilling At Lord Jim’s
On November 10, chef Alex Dilling will join forces with chef Wilfrid Hocquet of Margo for a four-hands dinner at Alex Dilling At Lord Jim’s, Mandarin Oriental, Bangkok. The chefs will present a seven-course experience featuring canapés and three signature dishes each, culminating in a collaborative dessert.
The Art of the Slice at Scarlett x Maison René
Scarlett Bangkok will host “The Art Of The Slice” on November 7 along with Maison René, a Bangkok-based atelier known for French cured meats. Maison René will showcase their Chorizo, Saucisson sec, Lomo Tender, Spicy Coppa, and Pancetta tesa. “The Art Of The Slice” will explore Maison René’s handcrafted cold cuts interpreted in true Scarlett style.

Bangkok Community Theatre will perform “Mamma Mia!” from November 7-15 at St. Andrew’s International School Sukhumvit 107.
