“Are you literally taking food from the mouths of hungry residents in your constituency?” a participant questioned.
“What, Elise, how will you make sure that the Trump administration follows suit?” one person queried. Others merely wondered about her whereabouts.
“Representative Stefanik has organized countless events since her initial election, which led to her being repeatedly and decisively re-elected for six consecutive terms. She achieved the record-breaking feat of receiving the most votes ever for a Congressional candidate in the North Country,” stated Alex DeGrasse, who serves as Stefanik’s spokesperson.

Sullivan informed journalists that he believed his efforts were more effectively utilized in meetings with smaller gatherings, like one held for fundraising purposes in Fairbanks on Friday.
“My number one priority has always been constructive and meaningful engagement with my constituents,” he told the press in Juneau, the

He added that he’s unwilling to meet with those intent on just yelling at him.
“If there’s constructive engagement, I’m all for it,” said Sullivan. “If it’s all about screaming and yelling and viral moments that they want to send out to their colleagues? You know, it’s not necessarily the most constructive way to do what I just did in there: an hour and a half with Alaska elected officials.”
