The frequency and type of malfunctions have sparked suspicion inside the Kremlin, raising doubts that these issues might not simply result from normal wear and tear, but could be intentional acts of sabotage.

Ukraine is not being accused of the supposed sabotage. Rather, the finger of suspicion is pointing towards individuals within the fleet.

The fleet command, together with divisional mechanical engineers and the leader of Military Unit 80515 — the 4th Independent Submarine Brigade — Captain 1st Rank Skarga, are dedicated to continuously addressing the malfunctions.

The issues plaguing the Russian navy might indicate rising dissatisfaction or more significant operational shortcomings as the conflict continues.
