Herndon, who looked like a rockstar with his sunglasses, cutoff shirt, and red bandana, joined his fellow bandmates onstage during the final song of the night, “Mountain Music.” This classic country track was written by the group’s lead singer, Randy Owen, and released in 1982 as the lead-off single from Alabama’s sixth studio album of the same name.
