The
Philadelphia 76ers
will start a 2-game away series, their last journey of the season, on Monday as they face
Miami Heat
The Sixers aim to prevent getting swept by the Heat as they seek a victory away from home.
Regarding the injury status update, there hasn’t been significant movement. As expected, Joel Embiid (managing his left knee issue), Paul George (recovering from a left groin problem), Eric Gordon (post-right wrist surgery), and Jared McCain (following left knee meniscus surgery) will be absent from today’s game.
Tyrese Maxwell (injured right finger) will continue to be out of action. In previous statements, coach Nick Nurse mentioned optimism about Maxey potentially returning during the 2024-25 campaign. However, given the advanced stage of this season and their lack of stakes, it seems unlikely that he’ll make a comeback now.
Andre Drummond (sprained left toe) and Kelly Oubre Jr. (torn right knee ligament) will also miss this game. Both players haven’t taken part in any action since March 12.
Guerschon Yabusele (for personal reasons) will not be participating in this game as well.
Kyle Lowry (managing a right hip injury) has been listed as questionable, along with Justin Edwards who is dealing with a rib contusion and also considered questionable.
The tip-off at the Kaseya Center in Miami is scheduled for 7:30 p.m. EDT.
