World Teachers’ Day is a significant occasion that highlights the critical role educators play in shaping the future of nations. This year, the celebrations were marked by heartfelt tributes from leaders across various sectors, acknowledging the immense contributions of teachers in building inclusive and resilient communities.

The Teachers Service Commission (TSC), along with educators and key stakeholders in the education sector, led national celebrations to mark World Teachers’ Day at the Moi International Sports Centre, Kasarani. The event, held annually on October 5, served as a platform for recognition and reflection on the challenges faced by educators in Kenya.
Several leaders joined the commemoration, sharing messages of appreciation and support for teachers across the country. Their speeches emphasized the importance of teachers in shaping the minds and character of learners, as well as their role in fostering hope within schools and communities.
