The Jewish festival of Sukkot, which will be celebrated from October 6 to October 13, was also mentioned as a potential timeframe for the return of the hostages.

Netanyahu further stated that Hamas would be disarmed and that Gaza would be demilitarized, either through an easy or hard way. He added that an Israeli delegation had been sent to Egypt to finalize technical details related to Trump’s plan for the future of Gaza. The goal, according to Netanyahu, is to contain these negotiations within a few days.

Al-Qahera News, which is closely linked to Egypt’s intelligence service, reported that the Israeli and Hamas delegations have begun moving to launch talks in Cairo to discuss arranging the ground conditions for the exchange of all detainees and prisoners, in accordance with Trump’s proposal.

Trump Warns Hamas: Move Quickly or Else All Bets Will Be Off

US President Donald Trump has warned the Hamas militant group that he will not tolerate delays when it comes to acting on his proposal for the future of Gaza. He wrote on his Truth Social platform that he appreciates that Israel has temporarily stopped the bombing to give the hostage release and peace deal a chance to be completed.
