To restore the nation’s former greatness, Maraga asserted that comprehensive reforms were necessary, suggesting he was ideally suited to implement the required transformation.
“Today more than ever, it’s evident that Kenya requires a fresh start. We need to put an end to impunity and corruption. Our deteriorating economy, education system, and health care sector demand urgent attention. Additionally, we should work towards mending ties with our neighbors within the region and across Africa. Ensuring loyalty to our constitution and complete enforcement of its provisions is crucial. Furthermore, we must prosecute and hold accountable individuals who blatantly disregarded the Constitution. The moment has come for genuine transformation—a reboot,” he stated.
