The popular series returns for a third season on HBO, starting February 16. The new installment of the dark comedy-drama takes place at a luxurious resort in Thailand, where a group of guests with complicated relationships will spend a memorable – and potentially life-threatening – week.

In Thailand. And yes, it’s available to book for a vacation of your own.

Be prepared to spend more than $1,000 per night to book a room at the ‘The White Lotus’ Season 3 hotel.

“According to the hotel’s website, villas and private residences provide the ultimate experience of comfort and luxury, albeit at a substantial cost.”

Travelers will get the best value for their money by booking their stay in May or early June, when rates start at $945 per night, according to Hotels.com. Prices can fluctuate significantly throughout the year. They reach a peak of $7,718 per night during the first week of March, but then decrease to $1,341 by the end of the month.

“Set-jetting,” inspired by ‘The White Lotus,’ may cause a surge in demand.

The Four Seasons Koh Samui resort is expected to experience a surge in bookings soon. This increase in demand is attributed to the “set-jetting” trend, where travelers choose destinations inspired by movies and TV shows.

Following the release of The White Lotus Season 3 trailer, searches for the resort on Hotels.com surged by 40%. After the show’s season 2 premiere in 2022, there was a 300% increase in searches for the San Domenico hotel, which became fully booked for six months soon after.

Hotels.com has identified several hotels in Koh Samui that offer a top-rated experience at more affordable prices, including Centara Reserve Samui (from $330/night), Melia Koh Samui (from $220/night), and the Explorar Koh Samui – Adults Only Resort and Spa (from $140/night).
