The police in New Hampshire have raised the incentive being offered for tips regarding the ongoing investigation into the demise of an infant female whose body was discovered in a Manchester pond at the end of last month.
The child known as Baby Jane Doe was discovered deceased around 4 p.m. on March 27 in Pine Island Pond, which is situated off Brown Avenue, as reported by the Manchester police.
According to authorities, they think the infant was put into the water at some point from March 25 to March 27.

They are seeking details from individuals who might have witnessed someone disposing of something in the pond, along with any photographs captured at the pond or Pine Island Park around that period.
The following day’s autopsy failed to uncover the newborn’s identity or determine the cause or manner of death, according to statements made by New Hampshire Attorney General John M. Formella and Manchester Police Chief Peter A. Marr.

Ongoing additional tests are being conducted, and officials continue to handle the case as a suspicious death investigation, according to law enforcement.
The Manchester police announced on April 2 that they had received approximately 50 tips but stated that they still require assistance from the public. Besides seeking information from individuals present at the pond, authorities are also searching for details regarding anyone who was pregnant around that time but currently isn’t and doesn’t have an infant, according to the police statement.
The Manchester Crimeline first provided a $2,500 reward for crucial details regarding Baby Jane Doe, yet they have since increased this reward to $5,000 as stated by law enforcement.
