Here we are at that special time of the year again!
As the NFL Draft rapidly approaches, many changes have occurred for the team.
Seattle Seahawks
The trades involving Geno Smith and DK Metcalf have boosted Seattle’s draft capital significantly, giving them an impressive five selections within the first 100 picks.
including a set of picks from the second and third rounds
Is this the year the Seahawks will once again select a quarterback in the draft? Could Schneider opt to trade back in the first round for the first time since 2019? Or might we witness an unanticipated move upwards? The developments should prove intriguing as they unfold from April 24-26 in Green Bay.
In the past, we used to refer to this as a “top 30 visit,” but it has since been decided that this term is somewhat deceptive and should be avoided. A so-called “official 30 visit” merely indicates that each team can have up to 30 structured face-to-face meetings with out-of-town collegiate athletes who aren’t local. These potential recruits come to the team facilities for discussions and medical examinations. However, an official 30 visit does not imply these are the best 30 prospects overall in their sports category or even among the top choices for any particular team.
– A local prospect, according to the NFL, is someone who either goes to college in a “local metropolitan area” or comes from one.

Just a reminder, missing out on pre-draft visits indicates that the Seahawks won’t be selecting all of these players, and realistically might not secure even one of them. Nonetheless, around 30 visits (including those from the official NFL Scouting Combine) suggest that we’ll likely see at least one player from this list selected during the draft or as an undrafted free agent. In the last three years, several Seahawks were either picked up through the draft or signed after being UDFA’s following their 30 visits: Boye Mafe, Dareke Young, Joshua Onujiogu (as a UDFA), Devon Witherspoon, Anthony Bradford, Jerrick Reed II, Tyrice Knight, Michael Jerrell, and George Holani (also a UDFA). Additionally, John Rhys Plumlee joined the practice squad midway into the season in 2024; however, he had participated in a pre-draft visit earlier.
Here’s the list tracking all officially confirmed or reported visits of 30 Seahawks players. We’ll add more names as we receive updates over the coming weeks.
