They played two small concerts in Brighton and London earlier this week (March 23 and 24) before heading back to festival performances during the summer. Over the weekend, the Isle of Wight duo—consisting of Rhian Teasdale and Hester Chambers—hinted at these unexpected shows at Green Door Store and The Moth Club in the city through social media posts.
Upon release, all tickets were quickly snapped up, even though the initial announcements didn’t disclose the band’s identity and used the pseudonym Uma Thurman instead—while noting that the actual actress “wouldn’t be present.” Wet Leg subsequently verified their participation by posting a link to the show at The Moth Club.

The performances featured the band playing an 11-track setlist that included several unheard songs titled “Dragonfart,” “Beans,” and ” Lovestruck.”
The premiere of their new music occurred after the band posted on Instagram the previous week (March 17).

After their performances in Brighton and London, the pair will add two U.S. shows to their schedule. On March 31, they’ll perform at the Market Hotel in Brooklyn, followed by a show at The River in Los Angeles on April 8. The most recent full-length release from Wet Leg was their self-titled debut LP in 2022. This album garnered them two Grammy Awards: one for Best Alternative Music Album and another for Best Alternative Music Performance at the 65th Annual Grammy Awards. In 2023, they added a BRIT Award for Group of the Year to their accolades, along with winning the award for Best New Artist.
In the upcoming months, they will top the bill at numerous UK and Irish music festivals such as Green Man and Wilderness. They’ve also secured spots at major events like Glastonbury, TRNSMT, and BBC Radio 1 Big Weekend in Liverpool.
