Jason Wright, who previously served as team president, was reportedly handling all business operations for the Commanders. However, following one year of assessment by the Josh Harris ownership group, he chose not to continue his role with Harris for another season.

Daniel Snyder tasked Wright and Bruce Allen with finding a new venue for the Commanders’ upcoming stadium. Eventually, it became clear that both Allen and Wright were overwhelmed, as they lacked the experience necessary for undertaking such an enormous project.

Once more, it appears that current owner Josh Harris significantly outpaces his predecessor, Daniel Snyder, in grasping what an NFL team requires and the credentials needed for those who carry out the immense responsibilities facing the organization.
