The Visionary Professor and His Chilling Predictions

Professor Xueqin Jiang, often referred to as “China’s Nostradamus,” has gained attention for his accurate political predictions. In a recent video titled ‘The Iran Trap,’ he outlined a detailed forecast about the potential conflict between the United States and Iran, which has now come into focus due to escalating tensions in the Middle East.

Jiang is a Beijing-based educator and writer who contributes to Harvard’s Global Education Innovation Initiative. He has also authored a book on education reform and coordinated study abroad programs at China’s top institutions. His free online lessons have attracted millions of views, especially after recent military actions in the region.

A Detailed Prediction About the US-Iran Conflict

In his lesson, Jiang predicted that if Donald Trump were to win a second term, he would consider invading Iran. According to Jiang, an initial invasion might seem successful, but American forces could face challenges due to Iran’s mountainous terrain. He also suggested that Trump would justify the war by claiming it was to bring democracy to the region and eliminate Iran’s nuclear capabilities.

After the February 28 strikes in Iran, Trump issued a defiant video message echoing Jiang’s predictions. He emphasized the U.S. policy against Iran’s nuclear program and denounced the Iranian regime, arguing that military action was in America’s best interest.

Historical Parallels and Strategic Forces

Jiang drew parallels between the potential U.S. invasion of Iran and the historical Athenian invasion of Sicily in 415 BCE. He noted that commanders Alcibiades and Nicias underestimated their opponents, leading to the weakening of the Athenian empire.

According to Jiang, three major forces are pushing the U.S. toward war with Iran: the Israel lobby, including AIPAC, the desire for global empire, and Iran’s conflict with Saudi Arabia. He argued that the U.S. is addicted to empire because it represents easy money, with all financial transactions going through the U.S.

The Role of Key Players

Jiang highlighted the role of Trump’s son-in-law, Jared Kushner, who is friends with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu. Kushner’s father was a prominent sponsor of AIPAC. He predicted that Trump would launch a full-scale U.S. invasion of Iran in March 2027, supported by Israel, Saudi Arabia, and other allies like the UK, Australia, UAE, and Poland.

He believed the invasion would be televised, with Trump justifying it by claiming the Iranian people wanted democracy and freedom. The U.S. would frame the conflict as a means of liberating the Iranian people and destroying nuclear capabilities.

The Potential Outcome of the War

Jiang made another chilling prediction, stating that the U.S. would lose the war. During an interview, he noted that Iran had many advantages over the U.S., including its preparation for conflict through proxies like Hezbollah and Hamas. He argued that the U.S. military is not designed for 21st-century warfare and that sending ground troops to Iran would be disastrous.

Jiang speculated that the capture of Venezuelan President Nicolás Maduro made Trump overconfident. He added that if ground troops are sent to Iran, Trump could request emergency war powers from Congress, potentially granting him a third term. While Franklin D. Roosevelt served four terms during World War II, the 22nd Amendment later prohibited presidents from exceeding term limits even during wartime.

Trump has previously joked about the idea of no more elections during a war. The Trump administration claims the conflict in Iran is proceeding as planned, with the president announcing a ‘new phase’ in the joint war and ruling out negotiations with Iran, calling for an ‘unconditional surrender.’
