Capital One gives update on deposit issues as customers demand answers

Before Friday’s announcement, Capital One reported problems with processing deposits and payments for some consumers, small businesses, and commercial banks.

USA TODAY reached out to FIS Global, the company that provides services to Capital One affected by the outage, on Friday morning. FIS Global responded by saying that they have “restored access to the applications affected by the power outage.”

The company is working with affected customers to complete transactions that were submitted while the systems were down. The company estimates that most or all of this processing should be finished by Friday.
