We have a very close and in-depth cooperation on Arctic issues and defense of Greenland and the entire region,” Frederiksen said. “And we’re looking to strengthen that cooperation.
The renewed focus on Greenland has given the territory more leverage in its relationship with Denmark, placing the world’s largest island in an unexpected position of strength.
