A reworked map has shown the most in-demand jobs worldwide – and being a pilot is the world’s number one desired job in 2025.

On the map, countries have been colour-coded according to the jobs that their residents are most interested in learning more about with a view to pursuing a career in those fields.

We’re witnessing a trend where the world’s dream jobs are becoming more corporate and prioritising high salaries over other career objectives, particularly evident in the surge of interest in legal careers.


There’s been a significant increase in people’s interest in pursuing careers related to health, which is a very encouraging trend, and is likely a consequence of the pandemic, leading people to seek out roles that contribute positively to their communities.
